Brett Carter, also known online as Fossil Daddy, is a paleontologist and science communicator with a primary focus on ichnofossils, or trace fossils, especially dinosaur footprints. Fascinated by what tracks and trackways can tell us about ancient behavior, movement, and environments. he has collected and studied a wide range of other fossils. He completed much of his formal study in Scotland, but field experience extends far beyond that. He will be taking you through the world as he sees it, explain to you exactly what it means to be a paleontologist, show you some of his finds and do a Q&A session.His interest in fossils started in the late 1990s, inspired in part by the Pokémon franchise. Fossil Pokémon like Omanyte and Kabuto sparked a curiosity that quickly snowballed into a lifelong passion.
