Each Parkwood artifact has its own story to share. The everyday items found in the Parkwood private spaces serve as a valuable repository of information about the lives of Sam, Adelaide, their daughters, as well as the domestic service staff of the Estate. These stories help modern day visitors connect with the past.
In this intimate curatorial chat, an artifact show & tell, Samantha will highlight artifacts, placing the object into the social-cultural context, enabling a deeper understanding of the significance of the object in the lives of Parkwood.
As this event takes place in our Sunroom/Loggia, there are several steps to the lower level. If anyone in your party has mobility issues please do let us know a minimum of 7 days in advance of the event.
