Based out of Edmonton, Alberta and featuring lead vocalist Laurie Slater in the role of Stevie Nicks along with her five talented bandmates, TSP takes you on a 50 year journey through a chronological vocal storytelling of Stevie's life as a songwriter and her music through the decades!The Stevie Project is not just a tribute band — it’s a living, breathing homage to the magic, mystery, and magnetism of Stevie Nicks. Fronted by Edmonton’s own Laurie Slater, this captivating show channels decades of Stevie’s storytelling, spellbinding vocals, and unforgettable stage presence into a one-of-a-kind concert experience.
Laurie has been singing since she was a little girl, surrounded by music at the family piano and campfires with her fiddle-playing uncles. With 3 decades of performance experience, Laurie brings passion, soul, and authenticity to every note. Her vocals resonate with Stevie’s raw power and emotion — it’s not an impersonation; it’s a channeled connection.
Joined by a 5-piece band of talented musicians, The Stevie Project delivers a chronological journey through Stevie’s iconic solo work and Fleetwood Mac classics.
From the mysticism of Rhiannon, to the rock ‘n’ roll heartbeat of Edge of Seventeen, to the aching beauty of Leather and Lace, each song is paired with a glimpse into the woman who wrote it. You’ll hear stories of her friendships with Tom Petty and Don Henley, her poetic musings, her spiritual influences, and the deep well of emotion behind her ballads.

Formed in 2024, The Stevie Project (TSP) includes 3 of the original members from Mac Daddy - The Fleetwood Mac Experience, who Laurie performed with in the role of Stevie Nicks from 2017 to 2022. Mac Daddy played to sold out theatres and shows across Alberta, receiving many standing ovations!
