It is a Thursday Night Music Club / Swindon debut for Newbury trio The Station.
The Station are blasting the rising UK scene through the roaring twenties with their raucous, uplifting brand of fresh rock'n'roll, described as 'the ultimate feel-good band' and 'the musical equivalent of a light at the end of the tunnel'. The Station's sound and aesthetic draws on early rock'n'roll through to the greats of the 60s and 70s to form something ‘distinctly fresh and recognisably their own’.
This can be heard in their recent singles 'Victoria Street', 'It'll Be OK' and 'Orpheus'. With recent sell-out shows in London and across the country, all their music played on BBC radio, and new releases lined up for the summer, The Station are not to be missed.
Music from 8.30pm. entry free but do bring cash for the artists tip-jar to show appreciation and keep music live.
