Please join us as Michael Sacharski, Founder and Managing Director, Pacific Enterprise Capital International, is interviewed by Sandi Siegel, CEO, M.E. Dey & Co., and Ken Wasylik, Managing Director, E.M. Wasylik Associates. China’s Premier Xi is set to visit Washington on September 24. Mr. Sacharski, a China business veteran and political commentator, will dissect the U.S.-China commercial paradigm, provide some historical context for the summit and possible outcomes. His career spans 30 years of living and working in China. He has had an unbroken string of on‐the‐ground work experiences across China’s development arc: from post‐Cultural Revolution devastation to today’s global giant conducting sophisticated transactions around the world.
Ms. Siegel joined M.E. Dey in 1983 as an entry writer and was named President & CEO in 2019. During her tenure, M.E. Dey has been awarded two Presidential awards for excellence in U.S. exports; the President’s ‘E’ Award and President’s ‘E’ Star Award in 2021, and received the Governor’s ‘E’ award on three occasions in recognition of Export Excellence in service and education. She has been a participating member of the National Association of Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders for over 35 years as well as the Chicago and the Los Angeles Customs Brokers & Freight Forwarders Associations.
Mr. Wasylik, with more than 40 years of experience building businesses worldwide, founded E.M. Wasylik Associates in 1998. He has conducted business in 120+ countries and has extensive on-the-ground experience in 85+ countries. He has led and completed key strategic alliances, joint ventures, and acquisitions with major global companies. He also has an established track record of developing sales networks, evaluating and implementing business plans worldwide through acquisitions, joint ventures and start-up operations, and global financial management.
