The Standard Vintage Market

The collective behind Northeast Minneapolis vintage store Olio Vintage is proud to introduce The Standard, a new bi-annual vintage market setting out to raise the bar for the Twin Cities vintage shopping experience. Organized by Olio owner Carrie Martinson and Jahna Peloquin of Rosella Vintage (one of Olio’s founding vendors), the market is a love letter to local shoppers passionate about vintage and the vendors who serve them.

A New Standard for Vintage MarketsCurated with some of the Twin Cities’ top vintage sellers, The Standard will offer everything from vintage clothing and accessories to home goods, novelties, handmade jewelry, original art and prints, and more. The goal: to bring together an eclectic, consistently excellent group of vendors twice a year and create a market that is both vendor-forward and customer-focused—a must-attend destination for Twin Cities vintage lovers.

“Our goal is to present the best of the best,” says co-organizer Jahna Peloquin of Rosella Vintage. “We wanted to create something unique to the Twin Cities—a vintage market with hand-selected vendors offering quality items from every era—so shoppers can feel confident it will be worth their time.”

Adds co-organizer and Olio owner Carrie Martinson, “We’re also mixing in a handful of our favorite local makers and artists—much like how we’ve set up the store—with an emphasis on quality, variety, and community.”

The lineup of 25+ vendors includes Olio Vintage resident vendors Rosella Vintage, Black Nvni, Oubliette, Lobstergarden, Who Called?, Red Eye Vintage, Renegade Rags, and Olio Vintage; plus Great Northern Vintage, Collected Dust Vintage, Magenta Vintage, Autumn’s Vintage, Vintage for Vera, and Siempre Viva Vintage; and makers/artists Caitlin Karolczak, O Estelle Adornments by Olivia Schares, McKinney Vintage and Henry Forcelle. Event DetailsThe inaugural Standard market will take place Sunday, October 12, from 11 AM–4 PM at Hennepin Hall (983 E Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis). The venue offers plenty of free parking, dedicated fitting rooms, a full bar with mimosas and Bloody Marys, coffee, food for purchase, and live vintage vinyl sets from DJ Danielle of Lady Heat to round out the experience. The event is FREE to attend.
