The Spirit of Semper Fidelis: 250 Years of Marine Corps Service

Welcome to The Spirit of Semper Fidelis: 250 Years of Marine Corps Service and Sacrifice. The Arlington National Cemetery is hosting a public tram tour of ANC in honor of the United States Marine Corps’ 250th Birthday. This special tram tour will take visitors to graves and memorials that showcase the USMC’s impact on the nation and the commemorative landscape at ANC. Stops will include the graves of Marines from nearly every conflict since the Mexican-American War, the USS Maine Memorial and more.

• This tour is free and open to the public, but space is limited but registration is required through EventBrite.
• Attendees should meet in the ANC Welcome Center at 9:15 a.m.
• The tour will be held rain or shine—please dress appropriately for the weather!
• Wear comfortable walking shoes, as the tour will include walking stops across uneven terrain.
• Bring water. Bottle-filling stations are located at various locations in the cemetery.
• The tour will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will last approximately two and a half hours. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
