Please join us in welcoming Stan Lynch, original drummer and co-founding member of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, as he returns to The Church Studio with his band of brothers, The Speaker Wars, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Heartbreakers and his storied career as a songwriter and producer. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member and his band will perform fan favorites, hits he’s written for artists including Don Henley and Tim McGraw, and songs from The Speaker Wars’ debut album, available wherever you stream music. This show marks a special homecoming for Lynch, who was at The Church Studio when Tom Petty & the Hearbreakers signed to Shelter Records and changed the trajectory of their careers.
The group was formed in collaboration with Texas singer-songwriter Jon Christopher Davis. His songs have been covered by Dolly Parton, Hal Ketchum, Timothy B. Schmit of the Eagles, Billy Ray Cyrus, Sherrie Austin, Tammy Cochran and various other artists.
The Church Studio is redefining live music events – bringing a thrilling experience to a finite group of 100 guests in the acoustically prestine Live Room (original sanctuary) of The Church Studio. The Church Studio, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is both an analog and digital recording studio, archive and audio engineering school. The team has designed a series of rare but highly curated, intimate concerts showcasing legacy artists. Each concert will undeniably be a “bucket list” level event.
The Church Studio Legacy Concert series will showcase musical artist performances that foster the mission of The Church; honoring the legacy landmark’s fascinating music history while creating opportunities to enhance attendee engagement – 100 guests will enjoy:

LOUNGE LISTENING EXPERIENCE: Enjoy the lounge with our vintage JBL speakers as the live performance is piped into the Lounge. You'll have direct access to the bar; however, you will not be in the studio with The Speaker Wars and there is no video.
