Welcome! We are happy to meet and share a dance with you.The container for this research is based on the view that everything and anything is always more than its current expression.
By allowing presence to unfold, we tap into the improvisational field where new possibilities arise.
In this weekend workshop, we will explore dance, improvisation, contact, and contact improvisation.

🌿 Topic: Midline
Life forms and organizes around the midline. As we gain a deeper experiential understanding of this place, it becomes a valuable resource for self-organization and harmony.
We will explore the central axis or midline and its organization, structure, and function. Through a series of somatic tuning scores, solo movement practice, and contact improvisation tools, you will connect with the depth of your midline, awakening the central channel and organizing movement from the center.

🧞♀️ About us:
Ilona: I have devoted my life to dance and movement research. I have explored many dance styles and sports, such as folk dance, gymnastics, and contemporary dance. I began teaching movement in my early twenties and soon got involved with Contact Improvisation. Family commitments slowed my progress significantly, but I have renewed my dedication to dance in the last six years. Currently, I perform Contact Improvisation and other forms of improvisation. I work as a bodyworker specializing in fascia, offering hands-on and movement sessions. I am particularly interested in somatics, effortless movement, and the self-development aspects of performance.
Nikola: My background is based on diverse studies of somatic, trauma-informed, and holistic healing practices. I'm a certified Feldenkrais Method and somatic coach.
Contact Improvisation has been my primary practice for more than seven years. My passion is the architecture of learning spaces - containers where learning and growth happen naturally.
