The Soul Takeover is the 6th production from Alonia "The Silky Songstress" and The Groove Theory Collective, a musical journey built on spreading love, joy, and peace through music. Expect a night of rich vocals, live instrumentation, and the kind of warmth that fills a room the moment the first note hits.
Alonia's signature sound, Flavorful Soul, is a silky blend of grown folk sophistication backed by a collective with 50+ years of combined professional experience. This show includes a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Peabo Bryson and two original songs premiered exclusively for this night, plus staging, lighting, and sound designed to turn the venue into a full sensory experience.
Free parking is available for all guests, with VIP designated parking for an elevated arrival. Attire is classy chic: think polished, refined looks that match the elegance of the evening.
This night is also purpose driven. Through The Dream Institute Collaborative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, a scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student during the show. Come feel the silk, the sound, and the soul take over.

The Venus Kings is an American blues and soul group based in Atlanta, GA. Formed in 2023, the band consists of Brandon Bolton on guitar, Neal Wauchope on keys/bass, Eleye Mostai on drums, and Adam Nicastro on lead vocals. Their exciting blend of blues, old soul, funk, and roots music, paired with their proficiency as players, is unrivaled.
