Summer Solstice Community GatheringFREE EVENT- donations encouraged for sound, lighting, saunas, toilets, tea, etc.
Join us for a joyful, grounded celebration of the summer solstice rooted in nature, connection, and intention. This is a space for camping, playing, dancing, live music, and authentic community.
This is not a rave. If you're looking to party all night, this likely isn’t your scene. We’re inviting people to arrive during the daytime, settle in, connect, and co-create an experience that leaves us feeling nourished, not depleted.
MUSIC: There will be local musicians and artists sharing heartfelt performances, along with DJs playing on a professional sound system. Music will wrap up around midnight on Friday and Saturday. Expect creative expression, late-night jam circles, and moments of spontaneous magic.
SAUNAS: We’ll also have multiple saunas on site, set beside the river. You’re invited to move between heat and cold, rest and connection, and take in the natural surroundings in a slower, more intentional way.
This is more than an event. It’s a collaborative gathering rooted in respect, care, creativity, and connection.
CAMPING: Camping is welcome, and you’re invited to arrive early to set up and settle into the land. Our crew will be on site starting Thursday. Come be part of building the space together. Plenty of space for vehicle or tent camping. No cell service, drinking water, or public outhouses. We will be making our own washrooms.
INCLUSIVITY: We are committed to creating a welcoming environment for people of all ages, races, gender identities, and sexual orientations. Everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported. If you have specific needs, we’re happy to do what we can to accommodate.
RESPECT: We ask everyone to respect the land. Pack in what you bring and take it with you when you leave. Clean up after yourself and support others in doing the same. Toilets will be provided and are designed to leave no impact. Please avoid leaving any waste behind and be mindful of water sources.
CO-CREATION: This is a co-created experience, not a spectator event. You’re encouraged to bring your gifts, whether that’s music, art, workshops, tea, stories, or simple acts of kindness. The more we each contribute, the richer the gathering becomes.
RESPONSIBILITY: This is a family-friendly, alcohol-free, and non-violent space. Please be mindful and respectful in all shared areas. Any personal substance use should be kept low-key and away from communal spaces. Radical self-expression is welcome within a container of mutual respect and care.
CARPOOL: We encourage carpooling where possible. Sharing rides and resources helps reduce impact and creates more connection. Group kitchen setups are also encouraged as a more sustainable and safer option.
FIRE HAZARD: Fire use will depend on current conditions, and updates will be shared closer to the event.
We acknowledge that this gathering takes place on the unceded traditional territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation). We offer our gratitude and respect to the people who have cared for this land since time immemorial.
Whether you're dancing with your kids, sharing food under the stars, or creating something new together, this is a space to slow down, connect, and celebrate life.
