Embark on an immersive journey through the Zodiac as a living Medicine Wheel: a cross-cultural exploration of the symbols, myths, stories, and archetypal wisdom that have guided much of humanity for millennia. 

You’ll never look at a sign of the Zodiac ever again. This will make astrology rich beyond the wilds of your imagination. Each astrological “sign” will no longer be a sign, but a symbolically fertile ground for a new way of beholding the basic patterns of the cosmos. 

The Sojourn is a mythologically abundant, experiential deep-dive into the history, meaning, and practical application of the Zodiac. It is one of the most cross-cultural mapping systems we have to support the human soul and the light of the heart as we embark on this journey through Earthschool.  Drawing from diverse astrological traditions, starlore, medical astrology, mystical frameworks, and contemporary depth psychology, this 13-week program invites participants to cultivate a deeper relationship with the cosmos, the cycles of nature, and the pilgrimage of life’s own inner landscape. Part cultural repair, part deep remembering, part honoring and exalting the wisdom of our ancestors, this program is here to tend the alchemical cosmos during these transformative times.

What is The School of Celestial Illumination?

This is not your typical astrology school. These classes are a mosaic of community offerings and teachings that weave together astrology and divination with an ancestral understanding of ethnoastronomy, myth & cultural astronomy, modern healing modalities, and most of all an embodied, animate relationship to the sky. The classes offered here will be a fusion of Indo-european and Semitic astrologies, mixed with contemporary western and archetypal astrology…and always an action-packed mythopoetics to feed your imagination.
