The SlowDown: Lovers & Laces

The SlowDown: Lovers & Laces is DMV’s Original R&B roller skating experience.

This R&B-focused skate night will feature two incredible DJs bringing two completely different vibes to the floor…

First up — DJ Vibeeanna (@Djvibeeanna)

The name says it ALL. Get there on time. Seriously. This is not a set to sleep on. Expect a smooth blend of R&B and HOUSE to kick the night off the right way and set the tone early.

Closing the night — DJ HotHead (@pr_grvm)

Finally making his way to The Bake. HotHead is going to make you fall in love with skating all over again… keeping you singing, moving, and locked in all night long.

This is a continued celebration of roller skating and R&B — new and old. You’ll hear everything, but more importantly, you’ll feel it. We push our DJs to give you something fresh, original, and different from any other adult skate night… while still respecting the culture that brought us here.

We believe SlowDown can help grow this community — bringing more people into our rinks, supporting the culture, and keeping it alive.
