At the christening of Princess Aurora, the fairies bestow upon her the gifts: courage and love. However, their joy is soon shattered when the wicked fairy Carrabosse casts a terrible spell: should Aurora ever prick her finger on anything sharp, she will die. Although the Sea Fairy cannot undo the curse, she alters it instead—Aurora will not die but will fall asleep for 100 years, awaiting the kiss of true love to wake her.
Prince Meridian, accompanied by his loyal dog, Pug, must embark on a quest to find the sleeping princess. Battling through tangled forests and facing unsavoury characters along the way, will Meridian and Pug succeed in finding Aurora?
