Join Southern Oregon Repertory Singers for The Skies Sing. The first concert set of the 40th Anniversary Season celebrates love and the transformative power of music to refresh and inspire. Highlights include: Sainte Chapelle by Eric Whitacre, Come to me by Ivo Antongini, Gloria from Cantata 191 by JS Bach, Sure on the shining night by Morten Lauridsen.Balancing these choral classics are newly composed works of Lucy Walker and Marques Garrett; Shakespeare settings by Craig Kingsbury (with actors Chris Williams and Jim Finnegan); Haitian folk music; and a fun arrangement of Cole Porter's “I Love Paris” and Jodi French's original stunning work Sleep of the Seven Lights.
