The Course
Join us for a 780 NM "Grand Tour" expedition from the Bay of Naples to the North Adriatic.
This voyage is designed as an Adventure Cruise with short coastal and offshore runs and many overnight stops. We trace the historic coast of Magna Graecia, blending 24-hour offshore pushes with frequent stops at the most beautiful, authentic harbors in Southern Italy.
The Itinerary Highlights:
📌 The Big Push (Naples → Tropea): We start with a 160 NM non-stop leg, sailing past Capri and the glowing cone of one of the most active volcanos in the world — Stromboli.
📌 Rounding the Boot (Tropea → Crotone → Gallipoli): We round the "toe" and cross the Gulf of Taranto to reach Gallipoli (Beautiful City). Approaching its walled old town on the island from the sea is one of the great sights of the Ionian.
📌 The Apulian Coast (Gallipoli → Monopoli → Vieste): We sail up the heel of Italy to Monopoli and Vieste, two stunning white-washed towns perched on limestone cliffs. These stops offer the perfect mix of sailing and authentic Italian culture.
📌 The Adriatic Crossing (Vieste → Tremiti → Vis): A tactical crossing via the Tremiti Islands ("Italian Kornati") to the Croatian island of Vis, before the final 150 NM run to Pula.
