📸 From an 11-Year-Old With Her First Camera to Photographing Wildlife Around the World
Zita’s love of photography began in Hungary when her grandmother gave her her first camera at just 11 years old. That camera became a way for Zita to document her travels and experiences for decades.
Today, Zita lives in Colorado, where she works as a financial software consultant—but photography has become a passion that has taken her around the world.
Her favorite subjects?
🐆 Wild cats
🐻 Bears
🦅 Raptors
🦌 Mammals of all kinds
🌎 Wildlife in some of the most incredible places on Earth
Zita has traveled across five continents photographing wild cats in their natural environments. She has also photographed polar bears and brown bears in Alaska, grizzlies in the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, and unique wildlife in the Galápagos Islands.
But her photographs aren't simply about capturing a beautiful image.
🌎 THERE'S A BIGGER STORY BEHIND THE LENS.
Zita is passionate about using her photography to raise awareness about endangered species and support wildlife conservation.
She supports organizations including Panthera, Snow Leopard Trust, and Polar Bears International, and 10% of her proceeds from photography sales are donated to one of these conservation organizations.
Her work has also received recognition in major international photography competitions, including Nature Photographer of the Year, International Color Awards, Black and White Spider Awards, The Wild Lens Magazine, NANPA, and the Share The View Contest.
And one of the things Zita loves most about photographing wildlife?
Capturing animal behavior, interactions, and those unexpected moments of humor that remind us just how fascinating the natural world really is.
