About this event
Join West Lothian Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Adelphe Connect, for an evening of creativity, conversation and meaningful networking.
This interactive workshop will explore the theme of resilience — what it means to you, your business and your community.
Rather than simply talking about resilience, you'll be invited to express your ideas creatively, share your perspective with fellow business people and discover new ways of looking at the challenges we face.
No previous painting experience is needed — simply bring your ideas and imagination!
What to expect

Enjoy a drink while creating your own personal representation of resilience on canvas.

You'll have the opportunity to give a short presentation about your painting and what resilience means to you.
🤝 Connect
Share ideas and perspectives with other participants, discovering common experiences and creating meaningful connections.

Enjoy a welcoming and informal atmosphere while stepping away from the usual networking format.
Why resilience?
For businesses, resilience is about more than simply surviving difficult times. It's about being able to adapt, respond to change, overcome challenges and find opportunities for growth.
Through this workshop, you'll have the opportunity to reflect on:
- How you and your business respond to challenges
- What resilience looks like within your local business community
- Different ways businesses adapt, innovate and grow
- The experiences and perspectives of other local business people
How the workshop works
You'll have approximately 40 minutes to paint your interpretation of resilience.
This will be followed by a 5-minute presentation, where you'll have the opportunity to explain your painting and the ideas behind it.
Participants with similar perspectives will then be grouped together for further discussion and reflection.
The focus isn't on producing a masterpiece — it's about expressing your ideas, learning from others and making genuine connections.
