The Singing Circle

Grownups, this one is for you. Join us for an afternoon of singing our hearts out and taking all the big deep breaths we need in The Singing Circle.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14th

Led by Dr. Rebecca Gruber, this casual song circle is especially for anyone who sees themselves in the work of mothering and is craving a place to use their voice in community: trans moms, cis moms, non-binary parents, grandmas, aunties, childless cat ladies, and more. We'll sit together and sing our way through songs that feature composers, artists, stories, and themes that speak to our experience. No prior singing knowledge or skill is necessary.

Children are welcome to come along. We'll set out scarves, books, and a few other items for all ages. The sound of their play and of children being children is welcome. It is also absolutely okay to come on your own.

Whether you are mothering a child, an adult, a pet, an idea, the world, or yourself- your voice and your joy is important. Music is a pleasure. We hope you'll come sit with us in The Singing Circle.
