The Silver Tree : Qabalistic Unity in Shadow & Light

Richard C Hick is a writer whose crooked path has formed a rich mosaic of different faiths, philosophies and practices over several decades. Turning his hand to literary works in recent years, Richard is a Master Mason, a Bard and a Yogi, with Hermetic Qabalah standing as a firm foundational stone.
The Silver Tree : Qabalistic Unity in Shadow & Light, is a new revision to be published by Liminal Gate Press in April 2026. The book can best be described as a non-dualistic exploration of Qabalah and Qliphoth, serving as a suggested approach to the process of Solve et Coagula, self-analysis and self-mastery. As an equally holistic approach, focused on that which unifies, as opposed to that which divides, the work relates truly ancient glyphs to pantheon and archetypes originating from across the globe.
In his talk, Richard will explain the original thinking behind the book, as well as providing a summary of the work suggested within. The pages of The Silver Tree include meditation and ritual both bathed in light as well as lurking in the darkness and one or two examples might just find a way into the dialogue.
Richard is also a successful business consultant working throughout engineering and manufacturing, a proud soon-to-be grandfather and a veteran endurance athlete. He lives in beautiful and ancient Derbyshire with his wife, dogs, cats and rabbits.
