The Silver Reserve & The Drunk Astronomer

The Silver Reserve is the solo vehicle for songwriter Matthew Sturgess whose beautifully crafted songs take their time to mesmerise, sooth, jolt and enchant. His debut album received 6music airplay from Mark Riley and he has shared bills with Thea Gilmour, Graham Coxon, Villagers and James Yorkston. Expect the hall to be filled with the tones of Matthew's deft classical guitar playing and sage lyrics that reward mindful listening.

The Drunk Astronomer is the solo project of Riponian, Nathan Fox. Performing songs from his two EP's and unreleased material from his upcoming album. In the words of the aforementioned Matthew Sturgess, expect 'acid-folk songs delivered with dry wit'.

This will be a seated event. It’s also Bring Your Own Bottle. That's encouraged but we'd kindly that if it's convenient, you take your bottles home with you. If you have acquired too many empty bottles, hats off to you and we'll gladly assist with recycling where we can.

There is some parking at the venue and street parking nearby.
