π The Silver Mile of Hope πThe Silver Mile of Hope is a community fundraiser supporting the 2nd Annual The Faces of Tragedy: Their Voices Live On, a remembrance and awareness event on August 15, 2026.
The Faces of Tragedy honors lives lost to substance-related tragedies, raises awareness about addiction and mental health, and uplifts stories of recovery. In 2026, the event will also gently include awareness of mental health and lives lost to mental health struggles.
π What Is The Silver Mile of Hope?
Participants help βbuildβ a symbolic Silver Mile by laying quarters β or making cash or digital donations β along a designated path.
Each contribution represents:
β’ One life
β’ One story
β’ One hope for change
Together, the shimmering mile of silver will symbolize remembrance, unity, and community strength. Every contribution β big or small β helps tell a story and supports this mission.
π Event Features & Prize Details
β’ Donation Tickets: For every $1 donated, participants receive a ticket for the thank-you prize drawing. Free entries are available upon request, regardless of donation.
β’ Walking the Mile: Walking the Silver Mile is optional. Those who do will be entered into a drawing for an event T-shirt.
β’ Memorial Displays: Honoring lives lost, including a Recovery Spotlight Storyboard highlighting stories of recovery, resilience, and hope
β’ Community Safety: Narcan will be available for attendees to take home, supporting prevention and life-saving awareness

β’ Bring quarters, cash, or make a digital contribution to build the Silver Mile
β’ Donate a gift card or basket for the thank-you prize drawings
β’ Walk the Silver Mile to participate in the T-shirt drawing
