This exhibition begins from that condition.

Pairing fashion and photography as individual and complementary mediums, the images in this collection celebrate the youthful imagination at the centre of Nigerian and global pop culture.

As a milestone in a career characterised by fashion editorials and features, photojournalism, conceptual photography, costume design, and a group exhibition, this solo show marks a point of visibility and deeper understanding of the artist’s work.

Ayomide Okanlawon is a Lagos-based artist working across photography and fashion design.

As a fashion creative, his practice is driven less by an obsession with technical precision and more by an instinct for composition and emotion. Colour, contrast, and culture are key points of exploration in his work.

His photographs have been featured across platforms including PhotoVogue, Deeds Magazine, Guzangs, Afrique Noire, and others, and are prized for their storytelling and conceptual value.
