This event is for women and men who wish to experience medicine painting. Marie will lead you through an Introduction to Shamanism and the shamanic journey to meet your inner healer (the Shaman archetype) within you, to meet your Power Animal and more.
Then she will guide you through 13 steps of Intentional Creativity to bring the essence of your Inner Shaman to the canvas using a variety of mixed mediums such as acrylic paint, markers, pencil, sponges, stencils, glitter.....
No artistic experience or natural skill is needed, just an open mind and a desire to experience the healing and empowerment of embracing these energies that often lie dormant within us and to allow yourself to be creative. You cannot do this wrong, what is supposed to unfold will unfold, directed by Spirit through me and you.
This is a fun and safe experience. I have led Shamanic Healing circles since 2012, about the same time I started painting the Divine Feminine. And, since then, I have been wanting to combine the two for people who yearn for more, to experience the fullness of who they truly are - not what society would have them believe.
I scheduled this far out because I wanted to hold it on 7/17. I have been seeing the number 717 repeatedly, often every day at least once, since around 2021. I know it means something significant ( a new direction) but no matter how many sites or numerology fans I consulted... nothing ever felt like "that's it!" but hey when I started to develop this project idea, 717 was coming in loud and clear again. So here we are!
I love to lead people through a shamanic journey to meet their power animals and that is what we will do in the first part of this workshop, your animal will help you to find your Inner Shaman also to receive messages, healing, colors, symbols and mantras that you will record on canvas to bring home and continue the healing process for yourself.
