For the first time ever, Minneapolis legends the Shabby Road Orchestra perform The Beatles, 1967-1970! Also known as The Blue Album, it was a double disc compilation of chart-topping songs and deep cuts from the Beatles, first released by Apple Corps in 1973 in the early years after the band's break up. As counterpart to a compilation from the years 1962-1966, (“The Red Album”) it was quickly recognizable for an iconic re-staging of a photograph catching the band looking down from a London balcony. A wide ranging collection of music from the band's ground-breaking studio years, The Blue Album includes a sprawling 28 songs clocking in at nearly 100 minutes in length.
