Josef Haydn wrote his masterpiece "The Seven Last Words of our Savior on the Cross" as a meditation for Good Friday. It will be performed in a concert version at the Danish Lutheran Church on the evening of Good Friday by the UP CLOSE AND CLASSICAL string quartet, with spoken meditations on the Word, as was initially intended by Josef Haydn and the church who commissioned him to write the music.https://7lastwords.org
