Celebrate the ancient tradition of sardine fishing in the River Thames in Surbiton.Since sardines were once again introduced to the river in 2005, local people have celebrated the capture of this magical food with a festival.

- Celebrate Surbiton’s legendary Thames sardine catch in a gloriously quirky local tradition (yes, really)
- Live bands & entertainment all afternoon
- Charity Bar, street food, & tasty treats plus arts & crafts stalls
- At 2pm join the procession to the river and witness the great sardine haul
- Finish at the iconic Sardine BBQ
