About this Event
The Scottish Moral Injury Workshop
Come join us in Perth for a day of learning and discussion at The Scottish Moral Injury Workshop. This event is designed to help us explore the impact of Moral Injury on the veterans community and wider society, by sharing contemporary experience and current learning in Chaplaincy, Community, Healthcare, Immigration and Faith .
Moral Injury refers to the experience of sustained and enduring negative emotions - guilt, shame, contempt and anger - which result from the betrayal, violation or suppression of deeply held or shared moral values
This day of interactive sessions and discussions will provide an opportunity for practitioners and academics to share valuable insights and tools by which to navigate the complexities of moral injury. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with others and explore ways to promote healing and growth.
The Scottish Moral Injury Workshop
is hosted by Veterans Chaplaincy Scotland
in partnership with the International Centre for Moral Injury
and in collaboration with the St Andrews Encyclopaedia of Theology
