🌟About this event & Women Support Women Cairngorms
This Women Support Women Cairngorms event will explore these questions and more, and leave you feeling inspired to become a positive female force for change and championing your fellow Badenoch badass.
It is the first event planned in a Winter programme to raise our collective confidence through the colder, darker months - more will be explained about this on the night, including the awesome local women in our midst that have volunteered to run sessions on everything from putting yourself out there to navigating conflict cleverly.
You don’t have to be a member of WSW to come along, but you do have to be female (sorry lads, maybe in future!).
Don’t worry about coming along solo to a WSW event - many women who are new to the area, or simply want to meet new friendly faces often do. We’re a lively, warm bunch and this will be an evening of fun, learning and good chat.
🌟What will happen at the event?
There will be interactive bits and opportunities to work in groups with the other attendees, but no pressure to join in.
Foxfire Cafe at Crossfit Cairngorm (by the Aviemore Kartway and the dump!) is a gorgeous space, so you can kick back and chill with a coffee if this is more your vibe, but we would encourage you to join in if you can.
The session is relevant to all, but will be particularly useful for those of you running your own business, or working in any role that requires selling/marketing.
🌟About your host for the evening
It’s hosted by WSW co-founder and comms specialist Suzy Bashford, who is naturally a bit of a drama queen 👑 and (to make this worse) has also just started a performance class at University of the Highlands and Islands. So expect some theatrics, hopefully some comedy and Suzy roping in a couple of members to be crabs 🦀🦀
