Join Tim Tuohy, founder and owner of the Kansas City Canning Co., for a crash course on the history of food preservation and canning, an explanation of acidification vs. fermentation, and a discussion of our food waste problem and the nature of our food system.
Note: The program will be presented in person at the Kansas City Public Library-Central Library and live streamed on the Central Library's and the Linda Hall Library's Facebook pages. Registration is not required to view the Facebook live stream.
