Join local author Danielle Jata-Hall for the official launch of her new children's book, The School is Lava – A Story About Emotionally-Based School Avoidance.
Come along for a relaxed, family-friendly afternoon celebrating understanding, inclusion and the power of children's stories. Meet Danielle, hear the inspiration behind the book, enjoy live story readings, have your copy personally signed, and connect with other families, educators and professionals.
There'll also be children's activities, local food vendors, a coffee trailer, a licensed bar and plenty of opportunities to browse, chat and enjoy the community atmosphere.
Whether you're a parent, teacher, professional, or simply love children's books, everyone is welcome.
Admission is free, but please register so we know how many people to expect. You can come and go freely at the event, there is no time restraint so please feel relaxed about how little or how much you would like to take part.
