The Santa's Hat Challenge

Back for a third year!
The Santa's Hat Challenge is a graded 5.3 mile route, with those slower or wanting to run slower set off first with faster runners starting later-The person at the front will wear "Santas Hat" and the first person back will be immortalised as this years winner! The first runner, wearing the Santa's Hat will start at 10:30am-Registration is 10:10-10:25.
It is a challenging route, all entrants by participating are completely at their own risk, we hold no responsibility for any unfortunate happenings-There are three road crossings, plenty of tree roots and we definitely recommend an offroad shoe.
Previous winners: 2024-Adam Ball 2025-Ned Birss 2026-? ? ?
This is not a corporate event-no chip timing, no numbers, no music playing compere, no goodie bag, I will be begging friends as marshals and crew!
If we can make your morning with a bit of fun, perhaps a new area and raise some money for a local worthy charity. It's also a bit later this year so you can fit RCP or Clifton parkrun in 👌
Registration will happen at Gotham square, please park responsibly in the village as it's a very warm welcoming and friendly village, we have a responsibility to keep a good name, leave nothing but smiles and memories.
Entry fee is a donation to the bucket on the day- we are very happy to support STAND AGAINST MND based in East Leake. This is a wonderful chance to sustain the dream of a local athlete and legend, please do read about the late Sam Perkins and together we can make a difference:
