"The Santaland Diaries" is an essay and one-man, one-act play by humorist and author David Sedaris. It is an adult-themed account of Sedaris' stint working as a Christmas elf in "Santaland" at Macy's department store. Sedaris first read the essay on NPR – NPR Morning Edition on 23 December 1992, and it has evolved into a holiday classic.
Jeremy Andrew Cooper-Joiner will star in The Santaland Diaries at TBTB as Crumpet at The Bird & The Book on Thursday, 12/19, at 7 p.m. There is no cover charge but donations are welcomed to support the performer!
