The Sandwich Ministry is a nonprofit founded by M'Reld Green in 2020 during the height of the pandemic. The Sandwich Ministry began serving lunches to children during the pandemic that depend on school for food. That snowballed into Thanksgiving where The Sandwich Ministry serves turkeys the Tuesday before. On Thanksgiving Day, The Sandwich Ministry serves a hot meal for for those in the community that may not have family, may not have a stove or unhoused.
