This one-day workshop will help equip churches by providing a theologically informed lens on DV and how to create safe spaces for victims.About this Event
COST: $20 - cash on arrival.

The training includes:
- Comprehensive information relating to DV (definitions, dimensions, myths & facts, incidence and prevalence, examples)
- Tactics used by perpetrators
- Impact of DV on Children: brain development, trauma etc.
- Spiritual abuse and misuse of scripture to justify or maintain coercive control
- Potential theological blockages to reporting domestic abuse
- Theology and Biblical messages of love, justice, respect & equality
- Exploring what Sanctuary might look like in your church.
