Tonight's show with The Samples has been rescheduled for August 5th.
Given today’s unpredictable weather conditions, The Samples will unfortunately be unable to perform as scheduled. Due to travel and other logistical considerations, they needed to make this difficult decision in advance rather than at showtime.
The concert has been rescheduled for August 5th at 6:30 PM at Fort Collins Nursery.
All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled performance, you may request a refund through your Eventbrite account. If you need assistance, please contact us at [email protected].

The Samples (Sean Kelly Bio)
Best known for his high voice, unique guitar playing and songwriting (“Nature”, “Feel Us Shaking”, “Did You Ever Look So Nice”) rock, reggae and folk singer/songwriter Sean Kelly front man for The Samples was born February 7, 1965 in Norwalk, Connecticut. The son of a WW2 veteran and a mom who worked construction to put food on the table, Kelly grew up in Vermont. While attending only one year of high school, he began playing guitar and composing his own songs. After moving to Colorado in 1987 to start a band, Kelly became a fixture on local club stages as the front man for The Samples, playing original songs with a variety of rock, reggae and folk. When not touring with The Samples, he enjoys playing his songs acoustically.
Venue Details:
This summer marks the 11th season of Fort Collins Nursery’s Rock Garden Concert Series. For one epic night, Fort Collins Nursery will transform from a retail space to a stunning and unique concert venue appropriately dubbed “The Rock Garden.” Audience members can relax under the evening sky, nestled along the banks of Dry Creek and the Cache la Poudre River, surrounded by beautiful plants, trees and wildlife. In addition to great music, this concert will feature a beer and wine tent and food truck.
Benefit Details:
Each concert is a fundraising event benefiting Project Self-Sufficiency, The Family Center/ La Familia, and The Matthews House. 100% of the event profits from ticket sales and all donations from the auction and wine and beer sales go directly to them.

This show will proceed rain or shine and would only be canceled in the event of extreme or dangerous weather. An event cancelation would only be made close enough to the event time to make an accurate decision. Any important updates would be made to our event page .
