Get ready to do the Time Warp again! Legacy Stage, in collaboration with Chico Performances, brings Richard O’Brien’s "The Rocky Horror Show" to electrifying life on the Laxson Auditorium stage for one weekend only:

When straight-laced sweethearts Brad and Janet get a flat tire during a storm, they find themselves at the eerie castle of the eccentric Dr. Frank-N-Furter. What follows is a riotous plunge into a world of science fiction, seduction, and sequins, featuring beloved characters like Riff Raff, Magenta, Columbia, and the muscle-bound Rocky.
Featuring iconic rock songs like “Sweet Transvestite,” “Dammit Janet,” and “Time Warp,” "The Rocky Horror Show" is a high-voltage celebration of liberation, camp, and unapologetic joy.
Directed and choreographed by Sarah Shoemaker and music directed by Olivia Cerullo, this production marks a sensational celebration of the musical’s 50th anniversary. “This is the Rocky Horror experience audiences expect and love, with all the callouts, props, and wild energy,” says Shoemaker. “But beyond the outrageous fun, our magnificent professional cast brings real heart to these iconic characters and reminds us of the story’s deeper themes around identity and self-expression.”
Audiences are encouraged to attend in costume. Outside props and noisemakers will not be permitted to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the venue. Prop kits will be available for purchase at the door! Our kits are packed with everything you need to fully participate, including toast, cards, newspaper, and more, all Rocky-approved!
