Spend your Halloween night “Over at the Frankenstein Place” and make sure to fasten your garter belt because Peoples Bank theatre is celebrating 50 years of The Rocky Horror Picture Show on our big screen! So, come up to the lab and see what’s on the slab! Dress to impress as your favorite Rocky Horror character and get ready to do the Time Warp again! The winner of the costume contest will receive a free yoga class from our show sponsor, Weird Flex Yoga with Michelle! And the fun doesn’t stop there- our friends at the Mid Ohio valley Players will be hosting the event as they lead the audience through the callbacks during the film!
About the movie:
Starring Tim Curry, Barry Bostwick, Susan Sarandon, and rock star Meat Loaf, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is considered one of the most popular cult classics of all time.
While driving home during a rain filled night straight-laced, newly-engaged lovebirds Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), by chance, end up at the castle of one Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry) and his strange and bizarre entourage to find that he’s having a party. This is no ordinary party and no ordinary night. This is the unveiling of the Doctor’s latest creation: Rocky; A man-made Adonis that will give…absolute pleasure. This is an exceedingly grand visual and musical camp satire of the golden days of the B-movie horror and science-fiction genres. Projected along with a musical soundtrack to give “audience participation” a new meaning.

PLEASE NOTE: Peoples Bank Theatre will offer bags of approved props at the concession counter for $5 (first come, first served). No outside goodie bags are permitted.
The following items should NOT be brought to the theatre: rice, candles, confetti, squirt guns, glitter, and real food items such as toast, hot dogs, and prunes. We ask that you please respect our historic theater and refrain from throwing anything at the screen.
