We’re off to roast the Wizard! The Land of Oz has been beloved by audiences for generations. There are literally hundreds of adaptations inspired by L. Frank Baum’s classic story in circulation today— but why stop there? On January 16th at Arcade Comedy Theater, Pittsburgh’s funniest comedians will bring the characters of Oz to life once again for a wonderful and wicked roast!It’s been a month since the Wizard skipped town, and the citizens of Oz have called a town hall to discuss just who should–and who definitely should NOT–take over leadership in this merry old land. Everyone who’s anyone will be there, including Dorothy, The Cowardly Lion, The Scarecrow (aka Fiyero), The Tin Man (aka Boq), Madame Morrible (aka Wicked Witch) and, of course, Elphaba and Galinda.
All your favorite Ozians and more together on one stage–and they won’t be holding back! The hinges will unhitch, and the insults will be unlimited.
