The River - Elgee Memorial Day School
About this Event
Join us at this year's Elgee Memorial Day School!
Following the success of last year's day school on the 200th anniversary of the Stockton and Darlington Railway, this year we will deliver a series of talks on the history of Teesside relating to the River Tees.
Organised by Cleveland & Teesside Local History Society, Teesside Archaeological Society, Cleveland Naturalists' Field Club and Cleveland Industrial Archaeology Society.
The day will run from 10am to 4pm in the Music Room at Preston Hall Museum, Eaglescliffe. Refreshments will be provided, and there will be a break for lunch where you can explore the museum or enjoy the cafe.
