Agenda
This is an eight-session course. Each session includes an interactive video that charts the Bible’s big story:
First – your hosts will welcome you and introduce the topic of the session before hitting play on the first half of the video.
Then – halfway through the session, there’s space to pause, break into small groups and discuss a few lines from the Bible that relate to the video.
Finally – you finish the session video, which ends with a closing reflection that invites you to think about how the session has resonated with you.
The course is split into eight sessions, which map out the storyline of the Bible.
Session 1: an introduction to the Bible
Session 2: the story begins – a look at the first book of the Bible
Session 3: explore a story of freedom for the early Israelite people
Session 4: exploring faith and the kings in early Israel
Session 5: a story of loss, political turmoil and exile
Session 6: Jesus enters the scene
Session 7: see how the life of Jesus inspires the early days of Christianity
Session 8: the closing chapter – explore the last book of the Bible
