Join us for a transformative workshop guided by ritualist and Latvian traditional pirts master Agate Silova, in collaboration with Cool Move. Discover the ancestral wisdom of the four elements - earth, fire, air, and water -through an immersive sauna ritual.

We’ll use Baltic and Mediterranean plants, exploring their qualities and learning their role in cleansing, protection, and renewal. Experience how fire burns away what no longer serves, water poured on the rocks creates herbal steam, air flows through the vapors, and plants embody the earth element. The water element is present throughout—in the herbal steam, in your sweat, and in the final cold exposure.

The session concludes with shamanic-style breathwork to integrate the experience.

In the Baltic healing tradition, sauna is far more than a place for physical cleansing - it is a sacred space for reflection, renewal, and connection with ancestral wisdom. In Latvian culture, saunas are a place of rebirth, where body, mind, and spirit are aligned through ritual, heat, and the natural rhythms of life.

Traditionally, the sauna is enhanced with herbs and whisks, each chosen for their energetic and healing qualities. These plants support circulation, relaxation, and energetic balance, adding depth and intention to the experience.

For this event, we combine these time-honored practices with locally sourced mediterranean herbs. Participants will experience the profound simplicity and transformative power of this tradition in a safe, communal space.

Agate Silova’s journey is deeply rooted in the ancestral wisdom of her Baltic and Slavic heritage, connecting her to Mother Earth and the unseen forces that guide and heal. These traditions are a living expression of her lineage, shaped by the knowledge of her ancestors and teachers.

Among them, the Baltic sauna rituals (pirts) hold a sacred place – a powerful space for healing, renewal, and deep energetic work. Her path has been enriched by Latvian teachers who shared wisdom beyond the pirts, by her shamanic teacher from Argentina, and by over a decade of study with diverse teachers from around the world. While she weaves together many influences, her ancestral traditions remain at the heart of all she does.

This event is perfect for anyone seeking a deeply restorative and transformative experience. Whether you are new to sauna rituals or an experienced practitioner, you will leave feeling renewed, grounded, and connected to yourself, the elements, and the natural world.
