The Rite of the Womb is a gift of healing and life that belongs to every woman in the world who wants to receive it, independently of whether they still have their physical womb or not.It is a ceremony of release, healing, and empowerment, gifted from the lineage of the Womb Keepers, women of the Amazon Andes who passed it to Marcela Lobos, a lady shaman who would share it with the world.
It is an invitation to let go of all the fear, sadness, pain, and limitations held in our centre of creation that we inherited from our mothers, grandmothers, and their mothers and grandmothers, so we can create and give birth to the life that we truly want for ourselves and for future generations. Receiving the Rite of the Womb is remembering the wisdom of the womb.
Together, we will participate in this ancestral female healing ceremony of deep liberation for ourselves and our maternal lineage. Each participant will receive the Rite and be initiated into the Womb Keepers lineage, becoming a guardian of life. The ceremony will be led by Gabriela, who is a certified Munay-Ki practitioner, and who received the rite and learned how to pass it on from Marcela Lobos herself.
After we finish with the ceremony and the transmission of the rite, we will use music and movement as part of our integration process. This consists of a series of invitations to embody the freedom, power and wisdom that are already in us.
No prior experience is needed, only an open heart and a willingness to heal and receive. All who identify with or wish to honour the feminine are welcome. Receiving the rite is to remember how wise, free, and powerful we are.
Light refreshments will be lovingly provided.
Bring a bottle of water, dress comfortably, and please be on time.
