A celebration honoring local history through student film and stories of courage, community, and Camp Kum‑Ba‑Yah.
About this Event

Join us for The Ripple of Inclusion: 65 Years, 75 Summers, 100 Years of Bev Cosby, a special community gathering centered around a public screening of Sydney Huffman and Adalyn Sheaffer’s award‑winning student documentary on the 1961 integration of the Camp Kum‑Ba‑Yah pools.
This powerful film, created by two longtime CKBY campers and now recognized at the state and national levels, brings to life one of the most significant moments in our camp’s history. The program will also feature reflections from former camper, counselor, and current CKBY board member Randy Nelson, along with additional community voices who will help illuminate the legacy of that historic summer.
A light, camp‑themed snack will be served, and we look forward to welcoming friends, families, and community members into this celebration of courage, storytelling, and inclusion.
Seating is limited and registration is required.
