in 1823, William Webb Ellis got tired of kicking a ball around his schoolyard in Rugby and decided to pick it up and run with it in his hands instead. 200 years later in what many have likened to be a similar paradigmatic shift, The Retro have rewritten the rulebook on funky Indie covers, in what can only be described as having actually listened to the songs they're attempting to play, and then playing them in a manner which is sonically pleasing to anyone listening.
