The Resilient Voice
Voice, Breath & Wellbeing for Professional Voice Users
The Resilient Voice is an international, English-language workshop exploring the relationship between voice, breathing, wellbeing and vocal resilience.
Drawing on perspectives from speech and language therapy, voice training, vocal health and mental health promotion, the workshop combines practical exercises with interdisciplinary insights and professional reflection. Participants will have the opportunity to explore how breathing, stress, physical tension, performance demands and overall wellbeing interact with voice use in both professional and everyday contexts.

• Breathing techniques for efficient and sustainable voice use
• Voice exercises to improve vocal awareness and endurance
• Physical warm-up and relaxation techniques for professional voice users
• Understanding and managing performance anxiety and vocal pressure
• The relationship between voice, stress and mental wellbeing
• Practical stress management strategies for everyday professional life
• Vocal health and voice care (vocal hygiene)
• Exploring the voice through a holistic and interdisciplinary perspective

Speech and language therapists, teachers, singers, voice coaches, speakers, performers and other professionals who rely on their voice or are interested in the relationship between voice, breathing and wellbeing.

Hungarian Speech and Language Therapist | University Lecturer in Hungary| Voice & Speech Coach | Mental Health Specialist
Ambrus teaches voice and speech training at university level and has worked with a wide range of professional voice users, including teachers, actors, singers, therapists and public speakers. His interdisciplinary approach integrates speech and language therapy, voice training, vocal health and mental wellbeing.
