Bart was diagnosed with mixed phenotype cancer (active leukemia and lymphoma) in May 2024. He has been getting chemotherapy and other needed procedures through Loyola Cancer Center/Hospital in Maywood, IL. Bart and his family have been traveling from their Rockford home weekly up to multiple times a week. Bart is still in need of bone marrow and stem cell transplant and will be scheduled for that procedure soon. He is required to quarantine/isolate for 100 days and be within 20 minutes of the hospital for regular to daily visits in the beginning of the transplant process. Bart also requires extra care due to being paraplegic since 2015. His mother, Heather is his primary caregiver. Heather has been working as much as she can and will continue to do so unfortunately the income has been limited in this situation. Please come support Bart. Join us for 12 to 5pm on Saturday, January 11, 2025. There will be a 50/50, raffle baskets and The Real Deal will be playing for 3pm to 5pm.
