An unplugged afternoon devoted to quiet connection, reflection, and shared presence, with tea, vinyl, and space to simply be.
About this Event

The Reading Room is an unplugged gathering created for those longing to slow down, step away from the noise, and return to the simple rhythm of being.

Bring a book, a journal, or simply yourself, and settle into a calm, welcoming environment designed for reflection, creativity, and gentle connection.

Guests are invited to explore the Sanctuary Library, our growing private collection featuring works spanning Black history, health and wellness, cultural storytelling, and more, alongside a thoughtfully curated record collection that may be enjoyed throughout the afternoon.

Tea will be available, the atmosphere will remain intentionally unhurried, and nothing is required of you beyond arriving.

Phones rest. Presence returns.

For those who wish, our Sacred Sesh lounge offers a relaxed, 420-friendly space.

Guests who donate one or more books to the Sanctuary Library are eligible for a discounted ticket.

Our library is a living collection rooted in learning, culture, and shared knowledge — and your contribution helps expand this resource for the entire community.

To receive the donation code, please email with:

  • The title and author of the book
  • A photo (if available)

Once confirmed, you’ll receive access to the discounted ticket.

We look forward to sharing this quiet space with you.
