Sometimes the most powerful music is found in the quiet.
The Quiet Room is a new collaborative musical project by solo bassist Kris Tischbein and singer-songwriter Andy Forgie, offering an intimate concert experience rooted in originality, emotion, and connection.
The concert unfolds across three, 30-minute sets. The evening begins with Kris Tischbein’s stunning solo bass compositions, known for their beauty and depth and featured in the award-winning documentary Strings of Inspirations. This is followed by Andy Forgie performing original songs exploring love (both lost and found), as well as selected works he wrote for his recording bands Creed and Photograph.
The final set brings Kris and Andy together on stage, performing personal favourites and musical pieces they admire- songs they might never have written themselves, but deeply connect with.
The Quiet Room has recently played to sold-out audiences at notable venues including Glanmore National Historic Site (Belleville), The Old Church Theatre (Trenton), Macaulay Church (Picton), Pinnacle Playhouse (Belleville), and the Campfire Series at Westben in Campbellford.

Artist Bios
Kris Tischbein
Kris has been performing and composing for over 30 years now. He is driven to redefine the role of the bass guitar and its endless possibilities! His musical journey has included working with legendary April Wine drummer, Jerry Mercer, and also Jake Clemons, of Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band fame! With three albums to his credit showcasing his original bass guitar compositions, Kris was also the subject of the award winning documentary short: “Strings Of Inspiration.”
Andy Forgie
Andy Forgie is one of our region’s most beloved and sought after entertainers, with a professional music career spanning over five decades! As the lead vocalist and songwriter for his bands “CREED” & “PHOTOGRAPH”, Andy recorded for both Quality Records & Capitol Records in the 1970’s & 80’s. Working alongside the likes of Tom Cochrane & Daniel Lanois, and touring from The Rock to The Rockies!! Over the past 22 years Andy was the lead vocalist with the internationally acclaimed celebration of The Beatles: “All You Need Is Love”…performing in Liverpool-England, Mons-Belgium, and throughout the USA! Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, Andy’s performances for both the young (children’s shows),and the young at heart (music therapy for the elderly) continue to this day…
