Jumpstart your sewing journey with me! The Quickest Stitches is a fast-paced, hands-on 60-minute express class designed for absolute beginners or anyone looking for a quick, low-pressure refresher.

We’ll dive straight into machine threading and mastering straight and curved lines in a relaxed, cozy setup right at The Peach Cobbler Factory in Takoma, DC. Grab a sweet treat, settle in, and let's get you comfortable behind a sewing machine under 60 min!

What We'll Cover:

In this quick-hit session, we’ll cut through the confusion and build your muscle memory fast:

• Getting comfortable with machine parts, dials, and basic controls
• Threading with confidence so you never have to guess

The Peach Cobbler Factory – Takoma

Located in the heart of Takoma, DC, right near the MD/DC line.

Metro: Red Line to Takoma Station — Less than a 3-minute walk to the venue! Exit the station and head straight down 4th St NW.

Driving & Parking: Free and meter street parking are available on 4th St NW and surrounding residential blocks. (Tip: Since evening classes start after 5:00 PM, parking is usually easy to find along the street!)

Building & Venue Access:

Ground-floor entry with direct street-level access (no stairs, elevators, or door codes required!).

Fully wheelchair accessible.

Head inside, grab a seat in our reserved workshop area, and feel free to order a sweet treat from the counter before class starts!

Supplies: All sewing machines, tools, threads, and fabrics are provided on site. You don't need to bring a thing—just bring your creativity!
